I am Leshia Anderson. I teach the advanced Spanish classes here at Boone High. I teach Spanish III, Spanish IV, and AP Spanish. I have been teaching at Boone High for 16 years. I love the new building, and I believe my room is one of the best rooms out of the entire school.
I grew up in many different places, like Florida and California, but I consider Ottumwa, Iowa home. I went to Central College in Pella, Iowa and also studied a year in Spain at the University of Granada. I have been studying Spanish since 1979. I also know how to speak French.

I am married to Bryan Anderson and have one son, Joel, and two daughters, Hannah and Haley. I love all my pets, especially my cat Pirate and my dog Daisy. Some of my favorite things to do are act and sing, and I enjoy reading, especially in the summer. I love planting flowers and even have my own fairy garden. I have been to many different places, including Mexico, Spain, England, Belgium, France, and Germany.
